Non solo musica contemporanea. Sting ha voluto rendere omaggio a un grandissimo compositore del passato, il celeberrimo Johan Sebastian Bach, durante una sua visita a Lipsia.
Bach nacque proprio a Lipsia nel 1685 e nel corso della sua vita creò opere maestose come la “Passione secondo Matteo”, il “Clavicembalo ben temperato”, le “Variazioni Goldberg”, i “Concerti brandeburghesi”, il “Magnificat”.
Sting si esibirà a Lipsia con il suo My Songs Tour a novembre.
