Lizzo ha eseguito con il flauto, insieme a sir James Galway, il tema de “La pantera rosa“, creato dal celebre compositore Harry Mancini . L’occasione è il centenario della nascita del grande musicista, che ha firmato alcune delle più famose composizioni per film, tra cui “La pantera Rosa”, “I giorni del vino e delle rose”, “Sciarada”, “Peter Gunn: 24 ore per l’assassino”.
Per ricordare Mancini, è stato anche stato pubblicato un album tributo, “The Henry Mancini 100th Sessions – Henry Has Company”, arrucchito dalla presenza di star come Michael Bublé, Pat Metheny, Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock e John Williams eseguono brani celebri di Mancini.
