E’ morto Victor Willis, il frontman dei Village People. A dare l’annuncio è stata la band con un post su Facebook: “È con profonda tristezza che annunciamo la scomparsa di Victor Willis, cantante dei Village People. Victor è morto ieri, martedì 30 giugno, a causa di una malattia breve ma aggressiva. Vi chiediamo di rispettare la privacy della famiglia”. Con Willis, i Village People hanno conquistato le vette delle classifiche con brani di successo come ‘Macho Man’, ‘YMCA’, ‘In the Navy’ e ‘Go West’. Nato a Dallas il primo luglio del 1951, oggi avrebbe compiuto 75 anni.
